Writing it in a structured manner makes you feel like you accomplished something - making you want to work even harder next time.So, you can see that I think writing a sample synthesis essay is a good idea for any graduate student. It also seems to make you feel good, which is a good thing in my book.In any case, if you're worried about your grade expectations in your transcript, you should be OK.
